She began her modeling career at the age of twenty and made her TV debut in 1993 with the drama serial Marvi. She started her modelling career in the early 1990s. 

She appeared in the TV Commercials of very well known brand names. In 1993, she made her acting debut in the TV serial Marvi which was directed by Sultana Siddiqui. Although she did not appear in the lead role in this serial, her acting was appreciated by viewers. Her next series was Dusra Aasmaan. In this serial she performed the role of Abid Ali’s daughter. Her first serial as director was Lamhay. Lamhay drama series was highly appreciated by viewers. Pakistani well known pop singer Shahzad Roy was also in this serial. Later she planned to direct another drama series Patjhar Ki Chaioon which was also liked by viewers.
