In addition to acting, Mehreen is also the ambassador of prominent brand Standard Chartered Fundraising Marathon.
She undertook her first commercial project at the loving age of 8 as a child when she did her first commercial ad for which she got a Barbie doll. She again appeared in some more TV and print commercials at the age of13. After this she again made her breakthrough appearance with a minor role in the play Ajnabee Rastay.
After that, she seriously started appearing in commercial when she was 18-19. After this she never took any break or pause in her career. She joined a modelling agency, Nabeela`s advertising, with Munaf as her agent. She got her first project in ICI and her second in a commercial with Ali Zafar.
After that her career took a serious turn and she started appearing in more and more commercials and dramas. She has advertised for leading companies and brands including Lipton tea, Pantene, Telenor, Ufone, Orient, Service, PTCL, etc. She has also appeared on the cover pages of fashion magazines like Libaas and done photo-shoots for clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc.
